To celebrate a friends birthday we went for the Sunday brunch and simply loved it. The choice was very good including all kinds of bread, croissants, cereales, various homemade jams, scrambled eggs, bacon, different smoked fish with horseraddish, salads, veal carpaccio, glazed kebabs, mussels, shrimps,...pumpkin soup, hot dishes including, deer, beef , fish, various sides including homemade spätzle, various vegetables and last but certainly not least a heavenly desert buffet. These deserts were simply breathtaking, not to be missed! As drinks one could choose between coffees and teas and different juices all included in the price. to celebrate a birthday, we went to Sunday brunch and loved it simply. the choice was very good, including all types of brot, croissants, müsli, various homemade jams, rührei, speck, various smoked fish with meerrettich, salates, calves, glazed kebabs, muscheln, shrimps,...pumpkin suppe, 3 hot dishes including, cerereal, bark, fish. these gloomy were simply breathtaking, not to miss! as drinks you can choose between coffee and tea and 2 different juices, all included in the price. as much as we enjoyed the excellent eating, we enjoyed the great view and very peaceful atmosphere as well as the very attentive service.
An ideal starting point for a hike in the magnificent Black Forest. Various roundabouts invite you to the excursion. And then I recommend a visit to the castle Windeck, more precisely in the Vesperstube horse stable The room is located in an old stable. Those who do not shy this ammosphere should just look around. The ambience is lovingly furnished. Staff very friendly. The Vesperplatte is attractively dressed and very tasty. The delicious cakes of delicacies should not be missed. I still dream about the cream cake with blueberries.

Dinner and drinks watching the sunset was just fabulous. The mushroom ravioli was fantastic....Bed was very comfortable for us. Room very clean. Highly recommended. Would stay again.

the most breathtaking location I've ever stayed in. built in the burg windeck burg area, this is a hotel that you need to stay at a visit to the opposite. Dinners and drinks watching the sunset were simply fabulous. the mushroom ravioli was fantastic....Bed was very comfortable for us. room very clean. highly recommended. will be back.

The view is spectacular. It looks like a phony Disney backdrop....but it is real. It is springtime and we all had spargel (asparagus)with hollandaise sauce and potatoes. I had mine with salmon. the prices are high but everything else is perfect. We did not have...any but they had some beautiful cakes on display.
