Burger Box Incorporated

This place was a neat stop if you like pop-culture history. Opened in 1954, Burger Box is a decent fast food joint built into a former combination gas station/motel. Imagine travelling America's remote highways in the 1950s, where you have a gas station, motel and restaurant all in one convenient place. Today the gas station and motel are closed, but the original structures remain. It's a bit of a time machine that allows you to glimpse a bit of interstate travel life back in your grandparent's day. Furthermore, any burger joint that's been around for 70 years is worth a visit because they must be doing something right. The food is very well done but not spectacular (it's fast food after all...

Don’t want to eat here!!! Today my husband went to pick up a doordash order from here and him and another customer saw and witnessed a employee that decided that it was okay to scratch herself inappropriately and not wash her hands after and proceeded to mess with food!!! They both looked at each other and shook their heads and the one customer left, and my husband is letting his customer know what happen… I already reported it to the health department, that’s disgusting and just utterly unacceptable behavior in that kind of work place.. I just wanted to let everyone know before hand so just be careful

We have eaten here many times we come specifically for the “fries” as nothing else on the menu is special. Unfortunately this time our fries were severely undercooked, soggy and greasy. They were absolutely disgusting, inedible. We ate on site so it was not a delivery/timing issue.

Authentic, quiet, southwestern style outdoor seating and fast service! Great place for a quick pit stop on the road.
