The second visit here, both good. The first on a market Saturday lunchtime, so very busy, and had to sit on their bar seats, that run along one wall. Initially disappointed, but there was no need as didn't feel annexed. The second on one of there small tables. The food - their smaller helping burger on both occasions - was very good on both occasions. Particularly the actual patty & the hand-cut chips. The burgers came with what they call 'cheddar', but in Britain this would really be called a processed cheese slice. However, for the price charged (about 18 euros for two, including 2 Leffe beers & one pud) - complaints would be nite-picking.The pud sampled was a chocolate muffin, with a semi liquid centre - quite good & came with a cup of espresso coffee included. Good coffee by the way.Good, friendly service.

Having read the various reviews we decided to give this place a try as we fancied a change from the typical French food. It's a fantastic burger cafe in the middle of historic Saint-Junien. The staff are so friendly and it was quite possibly one of the best burgers I've actually ever tasted. We arrived 5 minutes after it opened and seating both inside and out was starting to fill up quickly. Whilst serving the tables, the kitchen was also catering to telephone takeaway orders that were being picked up yet nothing seemed too rushed. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Tasty food - home made, even the burger bun and chips. My husband never eats his bun when we have a burger but he did here. Great 'buzzy' atmosphere with good background music. Excellent service - we were served by a lovely girl called Kathryn who is bilingual so could explain any words we were unsure about. This place was very busy on a Friday night so I would advise booking a table if you don't want to be disappointed.

We have not eaten a burger for a decade but 2 within 48 hours was worth the wait. We do not eat 'buns' so we ordered big salads instead along side frites which were just delicious, a carafe of red wine and finished with a fabulous panna cotta. Both evenings were dreadful for weather so we abandoned the Michelin restaurant the 2nd night to come here where it was warm with simple good food.
