I can't believe a place like this can survive... first you come in and it's really very cold. then order them... and it takes over 1 hour to get what I would call the worst food I had for a very long time. the diet plan I ordered was so off that they didn't even blow up, but the waiter tried to convince me that it was on the ice cubes. then the pumpkin soup - it was almost cold and the pommes frites...cold. the spagetti carbonara ordered by my tante were very al dente (i.e. hard) and the sausages of my cousin were... cold, but so burned that they were not edible. the apfelstrudel would have been in order if he had not been accompanied by the cheapest vanilleeis of all time. net: a total cata...

directly opposite the entrance to the heidelberger castle and right at the cable car station this restaurant is well located.There is a beautiful beer garden with plenty of shade and sun for those who both like and to relax one of these warm summer afternoons. eating seems to be in order. but when we were there, it was hard to excite the attention of the waiters and waiters, and then it took a while until our orders arrived. at least it wasn't so bad that it spoiled us the afternoon!
Heute nach einer Wanderung hier eingekehrt. Freundliches Personal, sehr schöne Terrasse. Getränke kamen sehr zügig. Das Bruschetta hat etwas gedauert, da es frisch zubereitet wurde. Sogar die Tomaten wurden erst geschnitten. Es war richtig . Wir verstehen die schlechten Bewertungen nicht. Würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Danke für die schöne Zeit.

visited the beer garden of burgfrei at a very hot day in juli (2017). tables under trees and tents made for the urgently needed shadow. eating was good, cold heidelberger pils was better. Note: bring cash. . . during our visit no debit/credit cards were accepted.

Sehr nette Bezitzer, Service super, und das Ambiente sehr sehr schön. Gerichte alle selbstgemacht, mit besonderen natürlichen Zutaten. Kann ich mit guten Gewissen empfehle.
