Today we were on the market of the martini, which takes place for the first time in linz and this opportunity in the burgklause. the restaurant is quite narrow and small, for that there are many cozy corners. the map contains many traditional good-bourgeois and seasonal dishes at favorable prices. the selection of drinks is limited. for example there are only two types of tee. we had the sours from wild wild boars and the lever with roasted brows. the portions are not luxurious, but are completely sufficient. gaumen and kartoffel puree were made themselves, tastefully it promised us a lot. also the other diners tried, we will reimburse a visit in the burgklause definitiw.

we ate out on a trip to the opposite in the restaurant of the burgklause. the white carving (linzer bauernteller) was tasty, the bratkartoffeln was handmade, the sweet rather from the freeze. the ice was very tasty. the service ladies look more grumpy. we were addressed very quickly, served and asked if something is still desired. This is rather rare in such places, especially when there is a lot to be done. The spatialities and their equipment were rather strange and could be a standardization or renovation ( toilets).

for some days in linz there is not much going on, and here we have ordered a little bit of a little spade that was on the map. Unfortunately, the new kartoffels were clearly old. the sauce hollandaise tasted like biliger butter. the chef ham tasted cheap and the white wine could have been bought for 3,50 euro also in the super market. tipp: fifty meters further run into the linzer brewhouse next to the ferry. then we dropped into the sofas with a beautiful riesling.
