Burridge's Cafe Tearooms

The service at this cafe was great, with friendly staff and a clean environment. The cup of tea I had was delicious, made with fresh tea leaves. However, the scones and clotted cream were not up to par. The scone was hot on the outside but cold on the inside, lacking freshness. The clotted cream also didn't meet my expectations. I may not return for cream tea, but the cakes did look enticing.

I recently came to your cafe with my son for lunch. I can’t say how impressed I was. My food was amazing, I can honestly say it’s the best side salad I have ever tasted! Also I asked for a cheese toastie for my little boy and it was served with cucumber slices, such a lovely lovely touch which I really appreciated. The cakes were also to die for!

This place is a nice find in Torquay. You could pass this easily as you head into town for different food. Don’t bother. Stop here and eat here!! The food was great I had a chicken tikka naanwich which was so nice. Just pay it a visit rather than any of the chains. Support independents.

This place has a great location right by the water, the staff are friendly helpful. The toasties we had were delicious the hot chocolate is very special. I highly recommend a visit.

Lovely choice of food. Great independent. Try the naanwich. Will definitely visit again. All the food I saw taken out also looked great.
