I was in Shepherdsville for work and my coworker and I wanted to find a place to eat that wasn't a chain restaurant. What a delightful surprise this place turned out to be! I had a burrito with the shredded chicken tinga, and my coworker ordered nachos. The burrito came with chips and salsa, and it was incredibly flavorful—seriously, Qdoba and Chipotle can’t compare. The staff answered all my questions about the menu and were really friendly. I will definitely stop by again next time to try more of their offerings!
My friend and I had grilled chicken burritos for lunch, and they were fantastic! The portions were generous, and the ingredients were top-notch. The staff was friendly and really put in a lot of effort. Even though noon is a peak time for them, they managed the line smoothly. This cozy and clean mom-and-pop restaurant has a relaxed vibe and is much more satisfying than the chain options.
Delicious food and excellent service! I've been dining here for many years and have never experienced a bad meal. Everything on the menu is great. I particularly enjoy the Carnitas Burrito Bowl, while my friends rave about the Nachos—make sure to come hungry because they're massive! This place is a much-appreciated gem in an otherwise sparse dining area. Thank you!
It was just a one a done place. Hoping for a gem in the rough. Three ladies working and no one seemed happy to be there. We seemed to be a bother. Large unused-looking kitchen and a want-to-be Quadoba. The food was just ok. The kids quesadilla looked better than most places. Just not worth getting off the highway for.

My usual Taco Square was 40 minutes away, but not anymore! This place was fantastic! The staff was friendly, it was very clean, and most importantly, the food was delicious! I highly recommend Burrito Loco to anyone looking for a great meal; you definitely won't be disappointed! 10/10!
Tortas de carnitas was amazing. The carnita tacos and the salsa homemade was great. If you are parked at the truck stop across the street it's an easy walk to get there. It's worth the walk and the money. Thank you El burrito loco for your great food and service
After visiting Bernheim forest, I was skeptical about a Mexican place in the middle of Kentucky. I was wrong. This place is fantastic fresh, fast, tasty. The burrito was one of the best fast burritos I've had anywhere in the country.
amazing, fresh eating, clean, friendly service. beautiful seating they have cozy stands. we like to eat here. like a moe’s or chipotle style space but tastes much better!
