I asked my server about my food allergies and that I also have to have corn tortillas NOT flour.When my barbacoa tacos came out, they contained the food allergy item my server said wasn’t in my food. (Could have been in the season too) The meat tasted old and off and it was served on flour tortillas. I only had 2 bites and realized my problem. But we got to pay full price for a meal I couldn’t eat. Our server apologized but didn’t offer to remove it from our check. I did eat the refried beans. Then I spent the next 2 days of our vacation very very sick.
It’s a nice vibe and the portions are generous (except for the tacos which are very over priced). However, nothing we ate was spectacular. The chips are thick and oily. The guac is very bland. The carnitas have so much cinnamon and clove flavor it is overwhelming. The bowl is far too spicy.Dietary restrictions: The chips are not gluten free as they don’t have a separate fryer.
I’ll be honest the food is great but as a Canadian visiting. It’s too expensive for what you get. Two tacos shouldn’t cost 17 bucks. You would expect at least 3 for that price. Also would be nice to mix what you get. Service was good. We were there on a Tuesday so the music was great. Kept the little ones occupied.
What a nice place to visit. The food was tasty, the staff friendly, and the place was cool to hang out in. What surprised me the most was how fast the service was. I put the order in, went to the bathroom to wash my hands, and when I got back to the table, the food was just coming out. Good job!

The hostess greeted and seated us promptly. Attentive server but no overbearing. The food portions are big and the food is delicious. Best Margarita on Gulf Blvd! They gave me a coupon for a free Margarita too!! Can't wait to go back!
Excellent portions and margaritas! Prices are a bit on the high side and service is very hit or miss. Overall definitely worth a stop.
