I will text in English (I speak German also), because tourist should read this. I was last weekend in this place, because some friend recommended me. Nice place, to be honest. The stuff is EXTERMLY unfriendly and racist oriented, because as typical Austria (Steirmark Buschenschank)....As a foreigner, my friend and I were not very welcome. We waited around min for order (just some plate) and drink. It was not to many guests, because I saw that other got before us (and also came after us). The worker was really unfriendly and did not want to explain us the difference between drinks (Spritzer). at the end, I waited min (standing and waiting) for a bill, standing and waiting! So, dear tourist do...
Went there to celebrate the birthday of my friend. We were a total of adults, kids, and babies. We arrived at and got a table at the outdoor area of the restaurant. The view is spectacular and very relaxing. Food of...course is great! The cold cut platter is highly recommended. Their food portion size is big. The restaurant also have amazing juices and wines. We liked it so much that we bought a few bottles to take home. The place is perfect for romantic dinners, weekend brunch, and family/special occasions. This buschenshank is part of the Mausser family. It's been refurbished recently and serves a great brettle jaus, the wine on offer here isn't your typical grape wine rather Apple wine. Also price of the wine is exceptionally cheap. The quality of the food is...great and the portions are large. There is a great play area for kids outside and the view is amazing. There is an apple orchard below the buschenshank where you can walk your dog. The owner Martin is a warm and friendly guy, well recommended
A short drive outside Graz you can find this popular place in the countryside. Nearly everything is homemade and represents typical Styrian food. Not the right place for Veggies but paradise for heavy meat stuff aficionados. Try eggs with Kernoel, beans with radish (Kaeferbohnen) along...with different types of pork (Bruestl, Ripperl,..... Close with homemade Brandy at least and better get a lift back home.
