When holidaying in Cornwall the bush pepper should be a top tier priority your list. There are many things to enjoy on the menu but in my opinion you must always try something new. For example their kangaro was such a unusual but delicious dish. It doesn't have that gamey beefy iron taste to it, so you really can season it however you like. The menu said it was Cajun but I felt it lacked that spicy element. The port and red wine reduction was lovely. And the sweet potato wedges really complimented the kangaroo. My wings were fall apart melt in your mouth. However, it said it was BBQ flavour I think it needed a bit more of a smokey depth to it. The sauce felt a little confused. But still deli...
What a shame! I put something down on trip advisor explaining the bad service and they full on lie about what actually happened. This is super unprofessional and the responses they give people on anything less than what they want is terrible. There was a huge argument beside us with a waitress and a family. The husband was getting super worked up and the wife trying to pitch in her thoughts on whatever was going down. Another waitress approached to resolve the situation. The fact that you say this did not happen is disturbing. Grow up and be more professional.
The food and service was great- such a cosy, warm and friendly atmosphere as well. I had the mushroom linguine and my partner had the kangeroo- they were both so good. You also get a complimentary shot of the owners homemade baileys which was so tasty that we bought a big bottle of it to take home with us Definitely recommend!
Best Surf Turf I have had in ages. Kangaroo steak was very tasty. Temperatures were on point. We got scallops for appetizers and were so tasty. Everything was really tasty and looked appealing. Staff were very friendly and dessert was the best. Would definitely go there again!

Quite simply the atmosphere was lovely, the staff were brilliant (particularly Maisie who served us) and the food was exceptional. I got a sweet birthday balloon and birthday sign for the occasion and the staff were really good about my allergies!
Outstanding meal the flavours were absolutely stunning. We ordered the Rib eye kangaroo. The service was extremely attentive and the homemade baileys simply finished the meal off. We’ll be back next time we visit Newquay Jane Bobby
We had dinner and Jasmine was truely attentive and welcoming. Food was beautifully cooked and very tasty, large portions. Would recommend any one staying in Newquay should visit this restaurant
Food was amazing! Staff were friendly and helpful (shout out to Jasmine for being a great waitress) would definitely recommend to anybody who visits newquay!
