My fiancé and I stopped past the food truck parked in Kilmarnock today and ordered a half dozen oysters and red wine braised beef tacos. Everything was to die for! A true staple of the Northern Neck and a place I’ll recommend to others. Even my fiancé who doesn’t care for most seafood loved the oysters!
I’ve eaten enough fried oysters for a 600lb man, and then some. I was floored by the fried oyster tacos. Hands down the absolute best fried oysters I’ve ever had. Also had the Cuban pork tacos, and those were just as good. I could eat those every day and never be dissatisfied.
Delicious...the oysters are breaded perfectly and have a great crunch. Love the spicy and tart of the Sriracha and lime slaw with the oysters. Will definitely stop by again next time I'm in the area.
