Travelled up to Aberystwyth from south wales for the day and as a massive foodie and a very keen lover of burgers this took my fancy. Staff were unbelievably friendly and well presented. Whole restaurant was very clean and surprisingly quiet when we arrived. Could see there was a lot of reserved tables so we knew we was on to a winner for good food. Ordered the large wings to share and they are by far in my top 5 wings I've had. Huge portion. Meat falling off the bone. Only recommendation is to add more flavours. Ended up pouring the bbq sauce (which was amazing also) over them to mix them up. Went for the surf n turf burger with cheese loaded fries. Burger was cooked lovely with few prawns...
Fair play, you wonder if some of these reviews are fake, family or friends but I can happily say with zero connection or affinity to this place that 5 stars is well deserved and relevant. It's not the Ritz but they never claim to be, so my 5 stars are given on the expectations they set and the excellence they deliver as a location and for their food. The burgers are fresh, locally sourced, tasty and freshly prepared, the chips similar... its burger and chips, simple as, but it's very good and if you can get these simple things as excellent as they do then i highly recommend a visit. To stand above the masses on such staples is a worthy accolade.
I made a dinner reservation the night before at this restaurant because we enjoy burgers. We tried the pork mustard and Welsh honey mustard burgers, along with a bottle of lighthouse lager. I always like to support local breweries and restaurants. The burger was decent, but the flavor was overwhelmingly pork with no special seasonings. The homemade chips and onion rings were outstanding. However, there were no alcoholic drinks on the menu and paying £5.50 for one beer was shocking. I would love to see more of those amazing onion rings included as a standard side. The staff, including the guy with glasses behind the counter, were excellent.
Excellent place to eat in Aberystwyth. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is a variety of food to eat all at reasonable prices. The food is very delicious and filling. They also offer a good range of gluten free or vegan alternatives. Highly recommended place to visit.

Excellent burgers made with fresh, quality ingredients. Really tasty. Set on the seafront in Aberystwyth so great location and lovely views if you have a window seat. Friendly, helpful staff. Welsh and English menus.
here stopped 19/8/18 absolutely fabulous place to die with burgers for, beautiful workers who they feel really welcome. highly recommended.
Best burgers ever. All homemade and very well presented from a well thought out menu. Would definitely say they are a classy burger.
