Once we were seated, it took another 15 minutes for someone to come to our table and take our drink order. The restaurant wasn’t busy—only one other couple was dining and there were four people at the bar. After that, we waited an additional hour for our appetizer, and then another 45 minutes for our main courses. My dish was $30 but lacked any flavor whatsoever. My sister's food was served cold, and my mother’s red beans and rice were inedible, tasting as if they had been soaked in vinegar. The only positive note was my husband’s chicken fingers, which he said were good. The staff was apologetic about the long wait, but I can't say the food was worth it.

This seafood restaurant is outstanding. The oysters were remarkable—very fresh and generously sized. The entrees are among the best for seafood in Birmingham. We own a house in Gulf Shores, and I can confidently say that this restaurant rivals the top places in that area.

My favorite seafood in helena! A little disappointed because our catfish plates were missing the hush puppies but we didn’t mind too much since there was already an insane amount of food!
The oysters were delightful, but they varied significantly in size. Some were large and amazing, while others were so tiny that it almost seemed like the shell was empty.

The service was great, Jamal was very quick and responsive. The food was delicious- oysters, crab claws and steak dinner were on point.
Service from hostess to server was atrocious. Food was really good but will not be back.
