A cornucopia of tasty candy which has been hand-made with love for generations by one of the sweetest families you'll ever meet. If you go up to Canada, you're going through one of my home towns, Blaine. It's worth the slight detour to explore Birch Bay, which is the part of Blaine on the water. The C Shop is hands down my favorite place to visit while I'm in Birch Bay. The staff is friendly, and their snow cones are quite tasty. Some reviews mention that the ice cream is a bit pricey, but its prices are comparable to those at other places in the area since they serve Tillamook ice cream. They also have an outdoor viewing area where you can watch them make various sweets and baked goods. One of the highlights of The C Shop is its location, right by the ocean. I highly recommend stopping by The C Shop the next time you’re in the area!
This charming old-fashioned candy store offers delicious sticky buns and cinnamon rolls that are truly remarkable! Fresh out of the oven, they’re perfect for enjoying at a picnic table by the bay. Additionally, they have a delightful vintage penny flattener that stamps "Birch Bay" on it. If you grew up during my time, this will surely evoke fond memories of penny arcades.
Best candy around!! There is nothing better than local faces serving homemade recipes made by hand! A long standing pillar of our community in Birch Bay that always serves amazing goodies with smiles! A couple employees even sing along to the radio and dance a little jig as they fill your bag with candy! Only complaint is that they aren't open year round!!!

This is a wonderful candy shop that's perfect for taking the kids. The staff are friendly and attentive, and there's a wide variety to choose from. I've never encountered a sweet that I didn't like! Plus, it's conveniently located right off the beachfront sidewalk. It's a nostalgic spot to visit during the summer or on holiday.
The sweets are amazing even just shaved ice from here made me exceptionally happy! The service and ambiance also great! We got to enjoy watching a lady prepare hand made candies and candied apples with all sorts of goodies! Great view of the kitchen out front while the kids had their ice cream!
Charming little spot for candy and ice cream with a wide variety of flavors. The size of your scoop seems to depend on the server. For instance, the woman ahead of us requested a half scoop but received as much as our single scoop. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Birch Bay!
The customer service was awful. The staff were rude while we were trying to order ice cream. However, the kitchen crew was very friendly.

Great spot for candy, ice cream, coffee, and snacks. We tried the ice cream, and it was delicious. Definitely a popular place!
