Visited Ca L’arpa on the 23th of july. I made the reservation at the restaurant to celebrate a very special occasion, therefore I already made the reservation online >6 weeks before the visit. I got an confirmation via the email immediately. On the 23th, we made quite a long drive to the restaurant, very excited for the dinner…. But then; we came to the restaurant, and it was closed! There was a little note on the door that they were closed until 1st of august… this is totally unacceptable for a Michelin star restaurant!! Reservamos la escapada gastronómica que incluyó la estancia, el desayuno y la cena degustación con emparejamiento de vinos. precio total 400 euros. las habitaciones no son destacadas por tamaño pero las camas son muy cómodas. Podría necesitar más detalles de baño. la experiencia gastronómica ha sido excelente, que la cena es desayuno tenía productos de primera calidad trabajados con mucho afecto. We went for a dinner at friday evening, the restaurant was not too busy. The service and the dinner was nice and is bot expensive ,but my opinion is, this restaurant is not a Michelin star restaurant. As I told the service was nice, but slow and at the and of the dinner I had to go and ask for bill. The dinner as well it was good ,but no more no less all the plates are ok and that's all, all of them is missing a bit salt a bit texture a bit sauce, garnish, texture, something. maybe I do not have a sophisticated enough taste for michelin restaurants but the multi-course dinner was unlike anything I have ever eaten and not necessarily in a delicious way. the dinner server was nice and quick but spoke quickly and mumbled a lot and was very hard to understand. it was a good experience though. the breakfast however was AMAZING! best croissants ever and spectacular overall! it was pretty slow at breakfast but worth it!
We actually enjoyed our evening here: decent food; good service; pleasant surroundings. However, we didn 't feel that the food was close to ' Michelin ' standards: average flavours; mediocre ingredients; unimaginative dishes. We had an excellent meal at Al Born #1 in Banyoles currently) for a third of the price of a meal here!
una habitación muy acogedora con una terraza en la primera planta muy agradable. Fallo en algunos detalles de baño, pero imagino que a tiempo. en general una estancia muy cómoda y agradable.
