The former amazing GM is opening a restaurant in Paris this year. ‐ This is my favorite lil fancy spot and a true midtown, heck, city gem. I love that one can have an incredibly fancy meal with dazzling wines and oysters and the whole bit. But, what I love more is that they have Miller Highlife on tap AND Prosecco. Their sandwiches, quiche and pastries are on point and oh lord, the fries. The staff here is consistently knowledgeable and friendly. My friend and I are only in Kansas City for two nights so we decided to check out Cą Va on a Friday evening. First of all, I had called earlier in the evening to check about reservations and no picked up at first and I figured no biggie, it's Friday night, I'll call back in a few minutes. Instead, just a couple minutes later, the owner, Howard, *called me back*! He was so sweet on the phone and I was so stunned to have a restaurant/bar call me back, I was immediately enamored with them. After walking around the art museum for hours we needed a Spritz! One of the places we really wanted to try while in KC was Ca Va! A small local favorite with an amazing staff of people who just love what they do! We had the tasty cheese plate and a spritz and even tried a Mocktail. We noticed they had a Wednesday night Weird Wine Flight and thought like that was so unique. They over heard us and even know it was Thursday they let us try the wines! It was a great experience all around and a place we will return too anytime we come back! Enjoy!

Loved this spot ! Came early afternoon and sat in the last moments of daylight on the patio. I wasn’t sure on bubbles and service brought out two options to choose from which was very helpful. Croque was actually really incredible.

Extremely great service, such a great atmosphere. Sat at the bar for a drink, the tables would be perfect for a date or get together with a few friends. Would love to come back and try more cocktails and some food.
