"These was a decent burger place. A little crowded for my tastes. Many of the tables were large with 2 people in the middle of all them so you need to be feeling sociable. I ate outside where there were free tables for two.Good food though"

So it would have been a one star review if it weren't for the food. So we got there on a Thursday evening around 7.. so originally we were told it would be 40-45 minute wait... I thought that seemed a little much for a burger place but they were busy so I thought maybe they are just over shooting it a little. Well was I ever wrong... We waited almost 1.5 hrs for our food..? and it was just 2 of us so it's not like there was much food even... Absolutely inexcusable.. and then to top it off the atmosphere is definitely not great... Very loud and close quarters... Not much table space unless you want to rub elbows with strangers. So I would have given a 1 star but the burger I got was excellent...
I’ve been a diehard fan of this place since day one. Some places lose their charm after they get in too deep, but Cabalar only keeps improving and they deserve every ounce of success they’ve received. The monte cristo is my favorite, but the cubano fried pickles are must haves as well. Today I got the patty melt, and it was just as delicious as I expected.
Top burgers and beer made me a happy chappy We'd gone in just to buy some meat for the barbecue. We ended up coming back and actually eating there. I had the hot southern chicken which is very hot with the fries which was lovely and I also had a really nice IPA beer which was very welcome.
Definitely the best sandwich/burger place in the city! The staff is awesome and super hard working. Definitely recommend! YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS IT.They do get busy in the evening so be prepared for that... And also when a spot near the building says no parking, they definitely mean it.
