Cabane Fxb Panossiere

Great cabin for hikers and mountaineers. The views are spectacular, and you can just sit outside on the terrace to watch and hear the glaciers. Food was quite good, but you should pay attention this cabin has no drinking water you’ll need to bring enough water with you, or buy bottled water that is highly priced 8 chf for 1.5 liters bottle.. There is a shower outside for a free adventure, but you should be early enough in the afternoon unless the hot water runs out. The rooms are quite cramped, but otherwise this is a great cabin.

a large mountain cottage comfortable bungalows, great location, not too far from the parking space, the staff speaks several, and most of all drinking water! dinner was worse than on many other huts: no choice, oily spaghetti, people from different teams together. the breakfast was much better than on many huts: sweet, milk, cheese, fresh bread, juice, jam. popular with hikers who don't have to get up early, so could be loud, don't forget ohrstöpsel!

This hike was solely to eat in this magical and unique place in the world. Warm welcome, quality and delicious platter. Wines from the region. Perfect risotto. Incredible terrace. Total cordiality from the Valais people. Many thanks for all that!

the evening meal was really good, a multiple cure to home cooked meal to supplement the calorie on the way up. the sleeping rooms are clean and in top form. helpful staff, which is very well known from the routes and variants. Reserva una mesa ahora

Great atmosphere and perfect location! The staff was really friendly and there's a chill vibe. We came from Cabane Brunet and stayed in the dormitory and had a nice diner and breakfast before leaving for Cabane Chanrion :

beautiful hut with magnificent view of grand combin and its gletscher. we wandered there from the cabane brunet about 7 km; about 3 hours. we had a nice meal there; with beer and a delicious cake

Amazing place in an incredible setting. However me and my clients really wondered, how come the owner is so grumpy and not welcoming while working in such place?
