So far, it 's the best tasting tacos I 've had in the Forest Park/Oak Park area, as I have been on the lookout for good tacos in this area all year. This place is better than Tacobron and Taco '76, the other taco spots I 've tried in the area. More affordable and tastier. I'm not sure why I’m writing a review for the first time, considering I've been coming here for over two years. This place is my go-to for Mexican food. From the tacos to the quesabirrias, tortas, and nacho fries, I've tried nearly everything on the menu, and everything is fantastic. The staff is very friendly, and most of them know me by name—I'm not sure if I should be embarrassed by that or not!
The customer service was excellent, and I enjoyed both the chicken and steak tacos—they were delicious. Whenever I'm in the mood for Mexican food, I make it a point to come here, as it simply doesn’t get any better for me. Although I don’t live in the area, I’ll definitely come back when I return and explore more items on the menu. Food: 5/5
I have enjoyed the food each time I've visited. The location is easy to find and conveniently close to the 290 (Eisenhower) expressway. The restaurant is very clean, and the prices are reasonable given the portion sizes. I highly recommend giving it a try—you won't be disappointed! Food rating: 4/5.

Best casual Mexican food in forest park oak park river forest. We love the steak tacos very greasy (in a good way) and flavorful, lots of meat. The quesadillas are amazing too loaded with cheese and delicious. The chips are fresh and perfectly salted. Service is always kind and timely.
The tacos are fantastic—everything tastes fresh and authentic. It also has the best rice water I've ever tried! The owner is really friendly. We should all do more to support small businesses like this one. Food: 5/5
I always choose this place over three other highly-rated Mexican restaurants! It's my favorite spot. They are super attentive to my child's allergy needs, and we've never had any issues.

The food is fantastic, the staff is wonderful, and the prices are reasonable. What more can I say? My favorite dish is the carne asada chimichanga.
Tacos are a very nice size; full of meat; lettuce;ect. Taste ok. I've had better tacos for less but it was just ok.
