Taiwanese food hold a special place in my heart. This place offered most of the home cooking Taiwanese food I would expect. It is set in the other end of the H Mart shopping strip and has ample space for in person dining. I will say that when we first walked in, the strong odor of stinky tofu made me question whether the sewage was leaking...lol... but once you realize it is, in fact, stinky tofu, your nerves, calm down. We ordered food from the waiter and it was out in probably about five minutes. Everything felt and tasted cooked to order and had a good flavor. I did not feel like the place was overly clean, or had any emphasis on cleanliness, but it did not feel dirty, either... Just sort...
Food is ok. Little salty. But the portions are way too small for the price. Their phone was off the hook so I had to go there to order. When I told them they just shrugged it off and picked up the phone and put it back on the hook. No thank you or sorry or anything. Then the phone started ringing. I literally helped them get business and they shrugged me off. I ordered 6 items and they only gave me 4 chopsticks. I asked for more and they said I already gave you some. But I have 6 items. They gave me 1 more. I asked for another and she have me the evil eye and hesitated. I paid nearly $90 for not enough food and they were too cheap to give 1 pair of chopsticks for each item! My favorite go to Taiwanese restaurant. Their dishes have the authentic taste of known Taiwanese dishes in Taiwan. It's an intimate and cozy place and the owner and staff are very nice and friendly. They don't rush you out even if you get there before closing. Their dishes have that homemade soul food taste. I always enjoy a meal with family or friends there. Whether you want a quick bite or a full meal, everything on the menu is delicious.Kid-friendliness: They have a wide variety of dishes on their menu, and kids can always find something they want to eat.
The restaurant offers authentic Taiwanese cuisine, but unfortunately, the owner doesn't have control over the behavior of the patrons. I was quite turned off by a young Chinese woman who removed her shoes and crossed her legs in the booth next to me while I was trying to enjoy my lunch. It was an unpleasant experience.

Price is better than average and flavor is decent, much better bang for the buck and flavor than other Taiwanese places. But don't come here if you're expecting high end dining or ambiance. Expect to get your own napkin and poor your own water
I love to eat here and also order takeout. It's very small family restaurant more of a fast food type. Price is very reasonable for the portion. Lunch special comes with tea and soup. The minced pork rice is my favorite.
An excellent authentic Chinese restaurant that truly captures the essence of Taiwanese street food. I highly recommend it if you're looking to experience genuine Taiwanese cuisine!
I absolutely love this restaurant. It serves delicious Taiwanese cuisine, not Chinese food, although some may not be able to distinguish the difference.
