Ms Lee is sweet, greets everyone good morning. Pretty quiet cafe, despite the busy-ness outside. Needed to stop in here before my appointment because my preggo belly was calling. Came in here and saw a good amount of tables (some 2 seaters, 4 seaters, bar seating, and a couple outdoor tables). Their menu was pretty extensive but not overwhelming. You can order a full on breakfast (ie. omelettes) or something on the go like a breakfast sandwich. BEST English muffin breakfast sandwich I've had in awhile. Was hot, and gooey with the cheese, good amount of egg, and the bread was soft, almost lightly toasted on the outside. It was a good size too, not super small. You can also come here for lunch...
I visited this restaurant intending to grab a cup of coffee while navigating the chaos of my son's medical care at Kaiser. Unfortunately, my experience here was no better. The manager tried to take an open pitcher of milk from me because I preferred it over the plastic creamers. Is it too much to ask for some accommodation? Instead of helping out her overworked staff, who had actually directed me to the pitcher, she insisted on following the rules. It's disappointing that from Kaiser’s medical services to their cafeteria management, there seems to be a complete lack of personal service. I’m giving two stars solely because the coffee was good, especially with the fresh milk.
I never knew this restaurant/Café was even here but looking at their menus and seeing all the hot fresh made to order dishes was quite impressive! I have a bunch of food allergies so I'm never sure if I can eat at any of these places but I was able to eat one of their dessert pastries. It's made with a rice flour and has red beans/sweet recipes in the middle. I eat at least three bites in to the pastry before I found the red bean but there was a lot once I got to eating. Lol
Soup, but none of them spicy. They have been better on the menu but it would have been an hour get some they said. I had the egg drop soup and they did give me some hot sauce on request. Spicy stuff, I only used half of it. Glad this place is no longer named Sugar Cafe, that's a really bad name for a place in a healthcare facility.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Wonton Noodle soup! The broth is flavorful, and the wontons are both delicious and substantial. The staff at the front were friendly, quick, and efficient. The Curry Beef buns were also fantastic! I can't wait to try their other Asian noodle dishes!
Just passing through waiting on someone at Kaiser Hospital. Ordered a breakfast sandwich, sesame ball and other snacks while we waited at Kaiser hospital. Nice service and fresh baked goods. Lots and lots
Charming café with a wide range of food choices, including ice cream and daily specials. There are plenty of tables and chairs for dining in, and they also offer takeout options.
The food is barely edible. The only reason to eat here, and the only reason I ever have, is if you've been fasting for a blood test. One extra star for the pleasant staff

My go to for a yummy avocado smoothie or which bite on my lunch break. Always friendly staff and the owner is wonderful.
