This is a very small restaurant near the Geneva international organizations and is a popular lunch for their employees. The food is simple, but well prepared. There is a daily special tablet of Jour at CHF 20, a selection of some salads and a limited à la carte menu. On the day I visited with a colleague for a work meal, I had the daily special Joues de porc braisés, galettes de polenta, timbale of vegetables this was simple, but good, the joues de porc accompanied by a beautiful sauce. My colleague had the Thai salad. The selection of glasses after the wine is limited, but decent. Service is charming if not always fast....
I'm really incredibly happy as I just moved to Chambésy I have Café 9 Relais de Chambésy (see separate review within seconds of my house. I just dined at Café 9 (I just moved less than 2 weeks ago! but it was an exalted experience. I chose her 3 course menu each course was perfect. In particular, the Daurade was sensational. My tiny dog was also welcomed (she is very well heard! . The lady in front of the house was very friendly chatty. I don't have a reservation for tonight, but I hope if I go early, they'll press me in!
The restaurant is very small, only seating for about 20 guests. So book, don't just turn up, disappointment is practically guaranteed. Although the menu is small it's well thought out. The wine card is also well thought out with a selection of local wines. English is not spoken so you'll have to dig out your best French or if you can, Spanish. There is no parking at the restaurant, but you can park a little further on, either at the shopping strip or at the school.
