Café Abseits - Reserva de mesa

We were a group of English guys staying in Bamberg for a weekend of beer, sightseeing & more beer. Bamberg is, of course, the centre of the universe for fans of beer & brewing culture. One of our group found Cafe Abseits on the internet & it was possibly the best find of the weekend. I contacted the proprietor prior to our arrival to warn him of a group of 14 men in need of a hearty breakfast & some local "where to go" info. When we arrived, tables were reserved for us & we were warmly greeted by the owner who proceeded to tell us about the wonderful beer brewing heritage of Bamberg. for almost 20 years I have been a staple guest off - formerly as a student guest, now often after the work to the sacker. the choice of beating is the madness. the choice of beer changes and you get real secret tips and tasty served here - especially from the Upper Franconian surrounding. great is also the extensive and varied menu - delicious breakfast offers, great pasta dishes, fine baguettes and changing daily dishes. my favorite: the Italo-Burger. the best burger in the city!Now this is: at my last visit the service has been greatly neglected: I have now had to wait several times between 30-50 minutes for the holiday beer - and this at a local or beer garden not even filled half. it too...

If you are looking for a very large selection of local biers, taste the seciial bottling of the most famous special malt manufacturer in the world (weyermann from bamberg) or try to get to the one or other Belgian beers speciality, it is right here. I think about. 60 grades are rated as the best beer concept by the most well-known beer reviewer, I can recommend a visit only at the best. the owner gerhard schoolmann is a true knower of the brewery and beer scene, who, if he has time, also likes to give out to the bear with one or other anecdote or good information. I can't say anything to eat, but I never had time there;-).

the breakfasts offered are simple, but good and big. the service is friendly and if you go to the bierchen in the afternoon or evening you will find an amazing selection. Conclusion: for a slightly more deft breakfast and a tasty and not everyday beer, they are right here Reserva una mesa ahora

we always like to go here! Whether with friends or as a family, dinner in the evening or later on 1, 2, 3 beer. In summer in the garden in winter indoors.But if there is no spontaneous visit you should reserve the offside is always well visited.

outstanding price-performance ratio even if the ambiente is not the most beautiful. the staff is very nice, courteous and the breakfast tastes really good :-)
