a very nice place to have a meal and taste delicious cakes, cakes and desserts in general. they are very original waffles that are made with a basic of smashed kartoffels. I enjoyed the with spiced cream cheese and smoked salmon. the variety of tees and coffee is very wide and exotic. the perfect place to spend a night after visiting hattingen, with some typical German style streets. the waitress was all very helpful to them and served everything as a very professional quality. As well as having some of the most delicious cakes on the planet, Cafe Adele also has some of the nicest, friendliest, most accommodating staff anywhere. It's always busy so a reservation is a good idea. Choosing which cake to order is the hardest thing...and the portions are very generous. They have recently introduced potato waffles on to the menu and I can recommend them (when you're having a savoury kinda day light, crispy and served with herby quark cream and salad. cafe adele is a small restaurant, and it is very popular so that reservations are recommended. we had our reservation for the breakfast in the day before and when we arrived, everyone had a reserved sign on it. even if the restaurant is quickly filled up, service. was pretty fast and efficient. we ordered the “Käse Breakfast”, the cheese breakfast with coffee. the coffee was ok. not as great as I hoped that I was a little disappointed as I hoped it was such a special caffe that they would have put more effort into providing a really good cup coffee. the breakfast itself was delicious and fills! really fresh bread and cheese, lots of variety and good quality. recommended for a good meal. they...

I still dream about the cake and tea I had at Cafe Adele. The apple cake is absolutely stunning, a mile high pile of fresh, still crunchy apples, with hardly any added sugar. I always eat it with a pile of whipped cream that tastes...as thought it's come directly from the cow no sugar. It's my little indulgence. On a warm sunny day you can sit outside, although by doing that you miss out on the charming interior. As you can see from the photograph, they were serving fruit punch strawberries in a pink sparkling wine. Very celebratory. I've been there in the winter too and enjoyed their perfectly brewed tea. For years now I am meeting a friend here once a year. We stay from breakfast over lunch etc. I've never been disappointed by any meal I had, be it breakfast, lunch or cake. I absolutely love the sweet waffles with cherries, cream and ice...cream or the Topfen-Strudel with Vanilla sauce. The cafe is in one of the old Tudor style houses of the old town of Hattingen with exposed beams inside. It is a comfortable and cosy place with a lovely red sofa where you can spend hours chatting. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Nothing is too much. It's my favourite cafe and I'm looking forward to coming back in 2017!

Perfect place for cofee and cakes. In very nice place. Fast service and good quality. We took coffee, soup and kartoffeln and everything was very delicious.

we liked the quarkstrudel with strawberries. huge portions. coffee wasn't top, but drinkable. beautiful location and friendly staff.
