Was stopping at nearby Premier Inn, thank goodness found Cafe Anglais , the Edgware Rd NW9 is non stop takeaway joints, none looking that appealing. We had lunch, evening meal and a breakfast here all generous proportioned and well cooked/presented. Not cordon Bleu just honest to goodness good grub.. Once food ordered service is by waitress, staff are attentive and friendly. Even though the extensive refurbishment building work is in progress, one would not know apart from sterling board walls! Was absolutely over joyed to find a real cafe like they used to once be. Well done to management hope you go from strength to strength
Visiting the area and staying at nearby Premier Inn, we looked to support local business, and Cafe Anglais did not disappoint in fact it excelled: the breakfast menu is superb, and basically you can build your own selection. over two visits we tried eggs, croque monsieur, bacon, toast and kippers, along with good coffee. All were good quality, served with speed, and friendliness. The cafe is clean, staff are hard working and deserve success. There is clearly regular local support, and if you get a chance to visit, you won't be disappointed. Lunch and dinner options look good too!!
This is a review for Cafe Vert. Great menu choice, excellent value for money for good portion size and super tasty food (great chips). Place was rammed both wit diners and take-away which was not surprising as food is good and reasonably priced. Service was with a smile which is always an added bonus. Only little niggle would be when serving a panini (my lunch choice today), sick a bit of tomato and cucumber on the plate as it doesn't cost a fortune and just makes it look a bit more interesting.
Discovered this and found it to be very good- the food was basic but prepared very well and I enjoyed my lunch. After Covid it was good to get back and be having something to celebrate. The meal was enjoyed by us all and if I am in the area again will certainly revisit. The menu is extensive and will satisfy most so I suggest you go and try out. The people working there are friendly so all in all it rounds off a great experience.

Came to buy takeout breakfast, was initially concerned if my food would keep hot till I arrived home. when I arrived home I found all my food was packaged beautifully in foil containers which when I uncovered were filled with very well proportioned sizes, and yes the food was very hot still and everything was cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend 5 stars
I've always seen this place from the bus while travelling and decided to go for lunch with my partner. The place is clean, the staff friendly and very attentive. The English breakfast is massive but delicious. General prices are cheap. It's an easy going place and will definitely go again. Just be prepared to have cash on you as they don't take cards.
It's a greasy spoon, that's overpriced I won't be setting foot in there ever again. A small plate of food for over a tenner with a cup of lukewarm tea... Drop your prices pick your act up... Would of given one star but the waitresses were all polite.

Fantastic breakfast, portions are huuge and prices are reasonable! Super clean, and staff are very friendly! Service is quick and would highly recommend if your’e hungry.
I had a cappuccino to take away and it most certainly is the best cappuccino I've ever had! Best cafe in London
