Well, there’s nowhere like it in Almerimar, or indeed most places. The staff are amazing and you’ll want to be friends forever. The English breakfasts are far out English tapas are brilliant (don’t expect vegan organic stuff, it’s traditional British fare) and the customers are simply fascinating. From yachties to local Spanish folk to British Expats to bizarre wanderers from across the globe you are going to have an interesting drink at Ankara. Great fun, cheap drinks, clean, crazy fun

Just spent almost three weeks in Almerimar and would like to take this opportunity to show my appreciation for the staff at Ankara. Kay, Ryan, Anne and Kirsty are extremely friendly and for me deliver the best customer experience in Almerimar. Always happy to help and a massive bonus Ryan speaking fluent Spanish. We generally drink there but have been told about the fantastic breakfast they serve. Thank you and see you next year. Kenny Linzi

tuvimos que ir temprano para el aeropuerto para que se abrieron a 1000 para que pudiéramos desayunar antes de nuestra salida! visitamos este lugar mucho en nuestra visita regular, excelente personal, amable regular. les encanta el lugar, es como un pub local.

We visit this bar most days for breakfast and would recommend the full English. Friendly staff and service. There’s always lots of little birds hopping about that cone close (not bothersome) hence the Dicky Bird Bar.

Lovely place to relax. Sit, eat, drink whilst looking at the boats in the beautiful marina. Great food and attentive, friendly staff. Lots to do around the bar so spend some time there. Will definitely go back

Fabuloso pub local en el puerto. Personal amable y clientes, el mejor desayuno de la ciudad. Me lo recomendó mi hermano, realmente es el mejor lugar para empezar el día, o ver el atardecer.
