Visited cafe au lait with my 6 good friends for a farewell brunch after a delightful weekend in Bath. After a short wait we were shown to our table. Unfortunately, this is where it all went down hill. We ordered our drinks from a waitress who was rude, rolling her eyes when asked any questions and we felt very rushed to make our order. The food itself was fine. It looked better than it tasted. No one asked how our food was and plates taken from us the second we had put down our cutlery. When clearing the table another waiter gestured rudely to my friend for her to pass her plate which was embarassing. We then went up one by one to pay our bill. As the last person came to pay there was an ext...

I visited as I was in Bath for a couple of days and after seeing good reviews for this place on online I thought I’d give it a go. I ordered the avocado and asked if the salsa had coriander and explained that I’m one of those people where it tastes like soap. The waitress said yes but that they could do fresh tomatoes instead which was great. When my food arrived it turns out the avocado had coriander in it too. I had no check back, so when my plate got cleared (after about 15 minutes of me finishing) I asked a different waitress if there was coriander in it and she said yes, so I explained about the tomatoes and all I got was a sorry. Same thing happened with the bill, all I got was a sorry...
I came to the cafe with my Dad apologies for that who isn 't the easiest of people. It 's a great little cafe, sadly the tables are a bit low for me, however I am 6 foot 5. We both had the full English. I was very impressed by it. The Eggs were cooked the exact way I like them, great Butchers sausages, lovely tomatoes, and amazing beans in a BBQ sauce. My one small complaint would be more bacon. My Dad 's only complaint was that he prefers a plain breakfast and that it was too tasty see what I mean . I would prefer it if they didn 't put a service charge on the bill, this was removed with no complaints, however i was going to leave a tip anyway, I just prefer to pay what I think the tip shou...
We visited on a recommendation for the bottomless brunch and we we not disppointed. The atmosphere is the cafe was both vibrant and busy and so would recommend booking if possible. Close proximty to the Bath Spa Train station if you travel by train. The food was delicious, homemade and very good value. There was an excellent selection. The Bottomless brunch consisted of a choice from the breakfast menu followed by a choice of their famous pancakes. The breakfast bap was delicious. The Prosseco flowed freely and the staff were very helpful and attentive. We enjoyed it so much we returned for a coffee later in the day. Reserva una mesa ahora
A regular spot of mine throughout university and simply one of the best brunch spots in Bath (and probably the country! . The staff are friendly, the coffee is fantastic, food is always top notch (especially the pancakes and I will continue to go there whenever I'm in Bath!
We found this spot in the last morning of our holiday to Bath and it is what we had been looking for. Great choice, option of porridge and granola and reasonably priced. The plates are tastefully presented and the staff friendly and helpful. Give it a try.
