Cafe Berlin - Reserva de mesa

Enjoyable German restaurant west of Union Station. The food was quite tasty, particularly the schnitzel and peach Melba dessert. The Biergarten looked lovely but we ate inside because of the humidity. I found the decor a bit dated, unfortunately. We had a lively and chatty server but had a very unpleasant interaction with the bartender, so much so that we almost left upon arrival. (There was no host). Unfortunately, he also sometimes ran dishes or refills so his negative energy kept ruining our otherwise pleasant meal. It was a mixed bag but I would try it again.

Amazing Neighborhood Capital Hill Cafe. Amazing beer. Gotta try the Hefeweizen with pretzel. Don’t forget white spearguns. You can’t find it anywhere else. Outside seating is great if you can find one. Inside is a little dark. Severs are great (most of the time). Food is great if you like German food. From time to time, they also have amazing seafood on menu.

Found this place online, we were in the neighborhood and thought we would grab a bite. Little did we know we would order it all and almost ate it all. The meals may be a bit expensive and more of the southern Germany style of food, with lots of vinegar. I do enjoy more the northern German cooking. Is this place visiting yes enjoy.

Cafe Berlin is always a great experience—wonderful food, great atmosphere, fair prices, and easy to get a table. Their beers are amazing, and I love the seasonal specials. If you have a chance to try the pork shank, don’t hesitate—you’ll eat like a king. Reserva una mesa ahora

I lived in Germany for 4 years about 10 years ago and miss authentic German food. Cafe Berlin is a fantastic restaurant. My food and beer were excellent finished off with amazing Apple Struedel. The outdoor seating was also a beautiful setting.

Wonderful, authentic German dishes with nice beer and wine selection. The garden atmosphere under the umbrellas is a salve to ones soul. Great place for a mid afternoon unwind.

Original draft beer from Bavaria! Nice and fast service. Boss bought us a schnapps. Currywurst was ok. Prices reasonable for DC

Beautiful green location, 1 liter beers, good service, tasty schnitzel and many other offerings. Love this place.
