Since it was a beautiful sunny Sunday we wanted to eat by the Sea. There are quite a few choices but we picked Café Bleu since they had an available table outside but not directly in the sun and it was less brasserie-ish than the other places around it was around it The staff and servers were very good and attentive. The wine recommendation was good and they were fine with the fact that we only wanted to half bottle since we had a long bike ride home. FOr an entrée we shared some dish with fois gras and another slice of something very dark that we had no idea what it was, it was served with a raisin toast and two tasty relishes. Lovely meal very tasty. Good service, all of staff spoke a little English. One of the waiters tried to teach us a little French, im not sure if this was a genuine attempt or that he was just unimpressed by our terrible but earnest attempts! Big portion sizes for main meals, cant help but feel a little over priced.
Nice setting and good kitchen. But my main dish (risotto with gambas) had the size of an entrance, blotti with a large plate. I stayed on my hunger and couldn't help but pick up in the person who accompanied me, better served. Delicious dessert, but not very big either.
Went here after spending the day lounging on Anglet beach nearby. It has a great view of the esplanade and does a lovely selection of teas and hot chocolates. Staff are very friendly. Lovely, relaxing place with a chilled vibe in a great setting.

We were strolling on the beach and stopped for lunch. The place was crowded but they found us a table. We had only two small dishes but both of them looked good and tasted even better. We intend to return for a more serious meal.
The blue coffee, held by a master restorer, offers fresh, local and quality products. The wine list is sublime, including Irrouleguy wines from Brana. The service is irreproachable and listening. A must-see address on Anglet.
A pleasure for all senses: it is as beautiful as good and the place is perfect because the view on the ocean. Excellent value for money and staff is very pleasant. Close your eyes!
beautiful location on the esplanade in anglet. the selection of food is great. service very professional and frank the owner makes them very welcome. in any case a place to go.

High class food and service. Beautiful surroundings. Only minus was people smoking in the nearby tables.
