Cafe Bossa Nova - Reservar una mesa

My first visit here was for lunch. Very nice interior and very clean. I started with Mandloca Frita or deep fried Yucca root with sausage. I wanted to try something Brazilian and it was good. Kind of like a fried potato. Then I had the salmon sandwich. I misread the menu thinking it was a Salmon dish. A salmon sandwich is very odd. I ended up remove the bread and improved the experience quite a bit. I also had the fruit plate which was a bowl of finely chopped apples. A friend with me had the tomato soup which she said was very good. Overall a pleasant experience. The waiter was very personable and attentive.

the decor is very vivid, painting by brazil. Live standards play by jobim and bird. the personal in incredibly polite and professional. appetizers include maple flower balls, vegan cheese balls, heuccafries; Empty like black bohnensuppe, plate of black bohnen with rice, salat and salsa, but they must try the redeemer bowl. quinoa, bean sweet potato, bean, cauliflower, mango, avocado and tahini. Remember to ask about the hot sauce and the paprika. it is a bit on the expensive side, but it is worth supporting this jewel of a facility. Maybe we will see a vegan dessert from them in the future.

Unique and delicious. Usually you get the churrascaria type places when searching for Brazilian food elsewhere. i'm happy to report this place is different. I could eat the black beans, rice, eggs with greens and pico de gallo, everyday (mineirinho). it's pretty simple and the flavor of the beans with the slightly acidic greens and pico de gallo all go together so well. the moqueca de peixe is pretty darn delicous too. the salapicao is very refreshing. i haven't had anything here i didn't like. this restaurant is one of my favorites.

I had the vegan gnocchi with mushroom. soße- this sauce was crazy good, but the gnocchi was much too soft and needed some salt in the teig. I like that they have several selected vegan options, even appetizers. drinks on the menu. really interesting decoration that makes fun, but it feels less fantasy than the menu. it was pretty good to dinner, but I think it could be better for brunch.

the fried veggie appetits wigs with senf maple sauce were great, and the buzzing and rice were seriously the best I ever had. a handful of vegan choices outside the salad. I saw that they offer an iceless omelet (gf) for the weekend brunch, along with vegan pancakes (not gf.) I cannot expect to take my man and go back.

a nice step change in little rock. delicious, fresh food that you feel good. vegan products are clearly marked. as someone else has noticed, this is a better place to lunch, as I don't think that all that they offer is full enough to really qualify as dinner. the cheese balls (vegan) are fantastic.

A Favorite. The Cheese Bread is a must here; nothing like it! The chicken crepes with cheese sauce and the salpicao (cold chicken salad) are my favorites. I never get enough. The desserts are also the best.

Stumbled on the place by accident and delighted by it. Excellent, knowledgable waiter and great food.

So good we ate there 3 nights in a row. Everything was delicious. Especially dessert.
