Recently we stopped in Quimper to do a little shopping and had a quick lunch at Le Finistere. Despite the pouring rain we sat outside under their very large awnings. As we were not particularly hungry we ordered that French classic Croque Monsieur. Perhaps we should have seen warning signs from the speed of delivery. Clearly there had been no time to prepare it from scratch, indeed not time to cook it from scratch. Presumably it had been reheated, probably in a microwave. Over the years I have enjoyed this dish many times in many different places in France and even a few times in Britain. Unless my memory is playing tricks, this was the worst so far. Très bien situé, un personnel fort sympathique qui a su gérer un service mouvementé et des clients pouvant être impatients si ce n’est plus. Quelques petits problèmes d’attente et autre mais quand on voit le monde qu’il y avait et le contexte de ce jour là et qu’on est du métier, on comprend, on compatis et on pardonne. Je vous conseille ce restaurant très bon, copieux et avec un bon rapport qualité prix.
Face à la cathédrale c'est top, surtout qu'il faisait un temps magnifique Les chèques vacances sont acceptés, ce qui est un plus. Serveuse polie, efficace, mais pas très souriante. Elle devait débuter car elle m'a dit que les chèques vacances n'étaient pas acceptés alors que sa collègue qui m'a installée m'avait dit le contraire. Bref. Je recommande cet établissement.
We had the Breton Platter and a goat's cheese salad. The platter was a vast helping of local sausage, salami and pate, and the salad was generous too. A sunny and lively spot for a quick lunch at a fair price. So no complaints from us.

Very friendly service and decent food. The mussles were very nice with lots of sauce and the fish and chips were amazing. Fish batter very crispy. Appetizers were small but good nonetheless. Definitely recommend for a visit.
Fantastic location. Spent a morning watching the world go by - three lovely coffees. Toilets first class and service excellent. Went back two days later to sample the delights once more. Recommended.
In the pedestrian center of Quimper, opposite the cathedral. The service was pleasant, pleasant waiters, kind, attentive. Wheelchair accessible. Parking 5 minutes walk.
