Small place. Few tables. Very popular with a line out the door. Cash only. Fair price. I had the crispy chicken sandwich and thought it was really good (added the Sriracha condiment for extra heat and flavor). The other 4 in the party thought the jalapenos were on their sandwiches were exceptionally hot but I didn't think so at all, so I ate all their peppers, too. Only reason I didn't go 5 stars (besides the fact this is not a 5 star kinda place and doesn't pretend to be) is that the servers took a long time getting the coffee and teas made I'm talking a good 5 minutes after we had already gotten the food before the drinks were placed on the counter. Other than that, it is an above average...
This store did not have soap for hand wash. Well, they did but the dispenser wasn’t usable. They are not practicing a good hygiene habit.The cashier did not seem to like her job. I was there at the counter thinking my order was ready after waiting for about 15 mins for a sandwich. It was also me being the only customer, and she yelled at me saying my order was not ready yet. I can’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. Go grab dim sum instead of going here.
Note to restaurant: Please update your prices online. It is not longer $5-$10 for a Banh Mi sandwich but rather $11. It is deceitful to not update prices.I do think the Banh Mi are delicious so I’ll give credit where it’s due. However, as the other reviewer mentioned, the bathroom is horrendously filthy, customer service is a hit or miss and the prices are higher than expected.
Small place with a cozy and lovely aesthetic. Both me and my friend got the crispy duck banh mi sandwich and liked it a lot, though I personally would have preferred more pickled daikon. The service was quick and the food was tasty. I would go again to try their other food! Sandwich wait time ≈ five minutes, cash only and after tax total was $13 and change.

IF ORDERING TO GO CHECK ORDER BEFORE LEAVING. I ordered 3 sandwiches to go, upon returning home I discovered there were only 2 in the bag. I’ve contacted the Cafe and hopefully they will help resolve this. The sandwiches received were good, but order correctness and customer service is also important!
Best Bahn Mi sandwich in the city. Tasty filling, fresh fluffy and crunchy bread. Service is very kind and hard working. Only critique is there is no wifi, when I intended to sit in and work there. I was confused because it has cafe in name. Nonetheless the place is great.
Such a nice spot on Clement street! Love this area but haven’t had a chance to try the banh mis here. They were so good! Really recommend. The service was great as well. Tip for vegetarians: You can get the mushroom banh Mi and add tofu to it. It’s so good!!
No frills Vietnamese Banh Mi Sandwich Shop. Pretty solid and not un-reasonably prices for Sf. Chicken Banh Mi was solid, fresh ingredients, good taste. Will be back for a quick and easy

The crispy duck sandwich was perhaps the best bahn mi I've ever had, especially when enhanced with hoisin sauce and sriracha, both of which are provided in bottles.
Cash only. No restrooms. I got the crispy duck banh mi sandwich for $12. Good amount of meat and it was tasty
