Cafe Central, Walker Ubels

This is a misleading place . This is a Central Konditorei but here you may have a hole meal pasta , meat , salad They do not accept cards , only cash Euros , CH The bier Eichhof is good and so the salad . Only in a modern world no option for cards is frustrating. The wi fi is good and the waitresses very friendly in German or Latin languages .

Lovely cafe with great food (the best food we had on our 2 day trip to Central Switzerland). Great views over the Turmli and William Tell statue. It gets busy at lunchtime with the locals. The main menu has an English version but the specials were in German. Really recommend the rösti.

Low quality food and slow service. Really expensive (more than 25€ for a burnt cordon-bleu), no salt/pepper on the table. And to top all that they do not even accept credit cards, forcing you to change in Swiss francs!!

Had the most amazing Rösti I have ever eaten. Service was friendly and the restaurant charming with its Dutch decor. Prices pretty usual for Switzerland, i.e pricy compared to anywhere else. Reserva una mesa ahora

After walking around the town the Cafe Central was the only place that seemed busy. It's was clean, we were served quickly and enjoyed tea which was nicely presented, good value also.

In the middle of the way we stop for coffee and cakes. We enjoyed the coffee and the two cakes that we have chosen. We payed 18 Franks for all. It is very close to the center

They are located in a great spot and they should make more out of it. Service was okay but we weren't tempted to have lunch after we saw the menu.
