We went here for lunch and also dinner the person running it at lunch time was dour compared to the evening Owner who was fantastic and friendly 2 totally differing personalities.We were 8 on a Friday evening and the France USA ladies game was on the TV in the Bar. we were in the restaurant and 4 of our number were delayed with flights arriving from UK to Toulouse. This did not phase the owner at all we had a few beers and waited for our late comers who eventually arrived 21.30hrs when we had a 20.00hrs booking. Our Host swung into action and we had a very good meal most of us had steaks. we left at almost midnight and were very happy with our experience
After having a reservation made by a very friendly tourist information lady in St Bertrand de Comminges, arrived in the hotel-restaurant. The hotel entrance looked like a home made construction site. The attendant looked like he just came from bed after being drinking the whole day and informed us they were full. How happy were we that that was the case after seeing the person and the place. Yes, in any other setting we would have had a big discussion, but hey, we were happy to leave such a DUMP!
Kiki 's sports bar and restaurant was recommended to me many years ago and he never fails to deliver an excellent ambiance and meal. If you are the least bit interested in rugby then you 'll enjoy the bar. There are even darts nights like UK pubs. The restaurant is next door and offers 'plats ' or 'menus ' both good value and good solid local produce and food. I will no doubt be back again when visiting this pretty town and birth place of Norbert Casteret (famous speleologist/spelunka).
