service was very poor. Waiter did not serve us gently, he dropped plates on the table with a bang. It also seemed that if they knew you they came around and pampered you, but if you were a one off like us, they could...not care less. what really left a bitter taste in our mouths was the order of a fish soup. Not a bad soup. It was served on one plate wit condiments a chilli sauce, grated parmesan and croutons. The condiments came in soy sauce style mini saucers. When we got the bill, we realized that we were charged euros for eating them with our soup. That was just too cheaky. How cheap can you get?! I came here after seeing really tempting photos on TripAdvisor and took a long leisurely stroll only to be told there was no table available because they had a booking at well, it was So my friend went in and promised them we’ll...take less than an hour for food. One of the male waiters grumbled that he will have to reset the table for the booking, like seriously is it that hard?! So we ordered mussels, seafood pasta and white fish (I think sea bass). The mussels were a tad too tiny, some were not fresh. The seafood pasta was flavourful but the prawns were not fresh, cockles were not fresh, clams were so-so. Weekend Düsseldorf for Xmas shopping. Stayed in InterContinental Königsallee. Wanted to have dinner Friday evening at Grande Etoile but they were fully booked. They recommended Cafe de Bretagne and we got the last table. Great Oysters, Shells and Monkfish. Excellent food, typical French Bistro and...attentative personell. We went back Saturday evening and again a great seafood experience.

We went there for a quick lunch and had galettes which were crisp and lovely. The crustaces looked amazing, but we did not have enough time to endulge. The restaurant is simple like a typical fish restaurant in Britanny. Friendly service. Nothing to complain...about., Reserva una mesa ahora

good dishes: the tuna rillettes and the mussels with roquefort sauce. One mediocre: the plate of seafood with shrimp, smoked salmon, swordfish and tuna, mostly because the tuna was very dry. Price wise ok but we didn’t go for the expensive choices.

No frills small family run fish restaurant in the old town of Dusseldorf. Fish soup excellent, and the cold plateau fresh and visually inviting. The linguini with clams tasty. Sadly a lobster was not available yet the bouillabaisse perfect.

Once again we were very pleased with the food and service. The quality of the seafood dishes was exceptional, as was the preparation and presentation of the dishes. If you like seafood, this is the restaurant to go to.

Fresh seafood in Düsseldorf. I really enjoyed it. Oysters to start, langoustine and to finish a Creme brûlée. The staff were also very friendly. It was a perfect meal amongst friends.
