We were expecting nice, simple food here, and friendly service, and that's what we got. The surprise element was the burgers, which were simply the best I've ever tasted. Not a particularly insightful review given my limited experience of burgers - I eat approximately one a year - but these were completely unlike what you get in McD, BK, or even Gourmet Burger Kitchen. They tasted as though someone had taken some great-quality beef steak, chopped it up and mixed with a little seasoning, and seared it over charcoal until the inside was just cooked, and not a second longer. A simple enough recipe, but it's all in the execution, which was faultless. I'd probably return here from the UK just for...

Cafe De Commerce is the central meeting point of the small village of Autignac. The Cafe offers Plat du Jour - during the week and in Summer in the evenings and at weekends an a la carte menu. Lunchtime is a great time to experience the plat du jour - a starter, a main and a dessert. served with a generous carafe of local wine. I have never eaten badly here, however be warned that you are not going to get michelin food here, simple well cooked country fare is the name of the game. The hostess is always pleasant and the waiter - is always cheerful and efficient. A perfect way to spend an afternoon or evening in a beautiful french village in the shadow of the church. Bon Apetit !

We were staying locally for a few nights on a cycling holiday at a place that didn't provide dinner every night and so came here instead (we were pointed is this direction by the hotel / B&B owners).Couldn't fault the place - perfectly decent pizzas / pastas / steaks etc with a reasonably-priced local wine list - which was clearly popular with the locals. You would disappointed if you came here expecting Michelin-starred-restaurant standard - but it's a local French café in the church square and isn't trying to be anything else!

Caf'e de MidiPlace du 14 Juillet Avenue Francois HuePezenasLanguedocFranceWonderful food beautifully presented and extremely good value.Try the three course set meal you will get a pleasant surprise the quality and freshness of the food is of standard that you find in a good restaurant, the price was €13.90 per person excluding drinks. There is a large free car park almost opposite so no problem parking, the car park can accommodate motorhomes. Give it a try you will not be disappointed. Reserva una mesa ahora

We have had two meals so far here and I expect we'll be back before the end of our stay. The food is simple but well cooked and delicious. Between us we've now had all four main (meat) options and all we'd happily have again. I particularly enjoyed the duck. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, wishing you good day when you are simply walking past. They are even patient with our efforts in speaking French. Delighted to have somewhere local to go for a good meal.

Excellent good value French food. The lunchtime menu is dependable and filling - you might not have a choice in the set menu, but you can count on classic French country food. Pizzas are available to eat in or takeaway at the weekend and they offer a good choice of toppings. The cafe is a great meeting place for the village and is a nice little spot to have a coffee during the day and watch the world go by. Definitely worth a visit if you're staying in Autignac!

The town is so so as is this establishment. Setting in square pleasant on nice evening and seems pretty dependent on locals although really nowhere other than this to eat nearby! Food was reasonably priced with pizza being a firm favourite. The goats cheese salad was a very ample starter. Service smooth. Honest and correct but little dull.

We stayed in Autignac and ate here a couple of times, lunch once and dinner once. The food was fine, well priced and the drinks were plenty cheap enough. It's in the little square where the church is so on a warm summers night is a great place to ready and socialise. Reserva una mesa ahora

An assuming place - but wow. Great food and great service. Well patronised by visitors and locals alike. Couldn't fault it - especially the excellent service.
