Café De La Grave - Reserva de mesa

The coziest coffee spot in La Grave! They offer live music, an extensive menu filled with delicious choices, and a stunning view of the ocean. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is incredibly warm and inviting. I tried the chowder served in a bread bowl, and it was a generous portion that was both comforting and creamy. My dad ordered the cheesecake, and it was fantastic! They also have an amazing iced latte sweetened with local honey. I recommend making a reservation, but if you're lucky enough to walk in without one, you might find a seat at the bar! Highly recommend!

This place is the highlight of La Grave! It's incredibly unpretentious and wonderfully cozy. Run by two young ladies and their mothers, it offers excellent service and a wide variety of menu options available throughout the day. There’s a piano right at the entrance, along with several other instruments for spontaneous performances. The menu truly caters to everyone, with generous portion sizes at all hours. I had the mussels (delicious!), the lentil soup (so good you'll want seconds), and the carrot cake (large enough to share!). You definitely need to stop by!

Not only is the food good, but the service is excellent. This place has a great atmosphere, probably the best on the Madeleines. We recommend the wild boar sausage, mussels, and the clam chowder. The large hot chocolates were served in bowls French style and our kids loved them. The lattes were also excellent. My only regret was not asking if they sold the cafe la grave mugs!
