Have visited this little cafe many times. Thought it was time it was listed here.No nonsense French cafe and bar in the centre of Duravel. Lunchtimes are always busy with a good mixture of local workmen and foreign tourists providing a good atmosphere..The lunchtime special is excellent value at 13euros ----Home made soup in a generous tureen.Self service buffet of charcuterie and salads. [Don't overdo it]Fixed Main course of meat or fish usually with potatoes and veg. Positief: qua prijs versus kwaliteit niet te kloppen. Ik ken het departement Lot zeer goed...er is voor 13 EURO voor een volledig menu (soep (een grote pot), saladebar, hoofdgerecht, kaas (10 keuzes vrij te nemen) , dessert, brood en een liter wijn) géén enkel restaurant dat het beter doet.Moeder en dochter bedienen met zijn tweeen 50 gasten en je wordt supervlug en vriendelijk geholpen. Het kan in Frankrijk maar het is ver te zoeken of je betaalt je blauw.
We go there almost every month and Its always good food .In the summer you can sit outside on the terras.You must get youre starter from the saladebar,with all kind of salades,eggs,pate,ham,tomate.After this you get youre maincorse and later cheese and last but not least dessert ( home made cakes,mousse chocolade,fruit etc etcAll meals are including wine! Red or rosé and coffee!Great value for youre money 13,00 for all!
Excellent local cafe offering excellent regional cooking,usually only open at lunchtimes when it is always busy(which says a lot).Typical artisans restaurant which are excellent value for money the Menu du jour is sub 14 euros including wine and 4/5 courses.Superb helpful sevice ,from Chantelle the proprietress ,is worth a visit for that alone. A French cafe like they used to be!

Gewoon een typisch ouderwets Frans restaurantje waar je perfect bediend wordt.Vijf gangen menu inclusief wijn voor 13,00 EURO. Het is géén topkeuken maar dit is zeker géén weggegooid geld. Voor ons veel beter dan het gemiddelde. De top: ze zijn echt vriendelijk en ze geven echt een goede service...vaak heel ver te zoeken in Frankrijk.
This is a good village restaurant with bar. There is seating inside and out and ample parking in the redesigned car park behind the Mairie, which is next door. The lunchtime set menu represents terrific value for money, with good local wine included. Service is...quick and pleasant. It fully deserves is growing reputation.
Resto agréable, accueil sympa, cuisine bonne et variée quand on y mange une fois par semaine c'est bien,de plus les assiettes sont bien garnies . je recommande pour les routiers ,les ouvriers et les autres . petit clin d'oeil de certains de mes gars pour la serveuse tres agréable et souriante.
Druk bezocht voor de lunch door locals, werkmensen en toeristen wegens goede kwaliteit-prijsverhouding: alles inbegrepen 5 gangen (soep, saladebuffet, hoofdgerecht, kaasplankje, dessert) met wijn en koffie voor 13 euro. Vriendelijke ontvangst door moeder en dochter. Van Harte aanbevolen!

Voor 13euro, krijgt men een volledig menu, met wijn inbegrepen. Het voorgerecht is in buffetvorm, er is wel geen keuze van hoofdschakelaar, maar altijd zeer lekker. Zeker meer dan een aanrader.
