Cafe de la Promenade

De passage dans la region pour la nuit, nous sommes alles diner dans ce restaurant qui accueillait en plus un groupe de musiciens .... la carte offre une variété de plats pour contenter tout le monde, y compris les afficionados de pizzas .... les assiettes sont copieuses et bien presentées....le tout pour un excellent rapport qualité/prix.... seulement ce soir là, est ce l affluence due a la presence du groupe de musicien .... mais le service fut extremement long .... dommage, car malgré de tres bons moments musicaux ..... cela ne suffisait pas a faire patienter ..... meme avec un geste du patron sur l addition... et malgré la gentillesse du personnel....

We knew we wanted to eat at the Café de la Promenade as we knew the owner from another restaurant he had in the area that we had frequented. And we are very glad that we did! Not only did we have a very good meal but there was also a very good French Jazz duo entertaining. The place was crowded and we were very lucky to a get a seat without a reservation. They serve excellent pizzas and have a varied menu. The service was good despite the fact that the place was really busy. The cafe has a wonderful local vibe. This is my favorite type of place to eat in France. We will definitely be returning.

Just spent a week in the Minervois region - beautiful area and friendly locals. We ate in here a couple of times during our stay. The main menu is quite brief but they also do a fantastic selection of homemade pizzas. The steaks were quite good too. Very reasonably priced food and drink. Nothing fancy but a really welcoming atmosphere. Well worth a visit if you are in the area (only open from 5pm off-season).

Situated alongside the town square and river you are in the social centre of Bize. You can sit in or out, the only disadvantage being the fumes from passing vehicles. Service is quick and slick and the tapas are very good value, preceded by a pastis maybe as you watch the ever changing scene. Frequented by both locals and incomers it is closed on Wednesdays when the market comes to town. Reserva una mesa ahora

An unassuming cafe/restaurant in Central Bizes-Minervois. Well attended by locals and visitors alike. Lots of nice pizzas, but other local dishes are also good. Wine is good and very inexpensive. Excellent value.

Great to see this bar re-born with the present owners. Visited a few years ago when it was dismal. Now it is full of life great range of food and drinks. Friendly staff. Real compliment to the village.

The reviews for 2016 cannot be real. We live here and this bar is rarely open and never busy when it is. The photograph of the frontage is not of the Bize bar. What is going on?

Lekker gegeten, buiten op het terras, is vlakbij de rivier de La Cesse. Veelzijdige menulijst. Vriendelijke bediening.
