I come here quite often as a local and enjoy the atmosphere at any time of day. Great coffee in the mornings and recommend their croissants (I'm really fussy about a good croissant and this passes the test!). For lunch or dinner, the menu is varied whether for a light appetite or a huge plate of burgers or steak. The frites (French fries) are excellent. Plenty of seating capacity indoors in the winter and cosy - in the summer, enjoy the view outside of the Place du Marché. Incidentally, on market mornings it's particularly busy but great fun (Sundays, Tuesdays, Fridays)

I will never go to this place again. Seriously, so rude! We were a large group of people and I was the only one that asked for a warm vegan meal. I suggested they could do a toast with avocado and tomato (all ingredients already on the menu, I offered to pay the full price anyway) and they refused in a very unpleasant manner, referring to "principles". Recommended a vegetarian salad instead that came with egg and mayo dressing (even though I explained what vegan meant). What is so complicated about making the toast with ingredients you already have in your kitchen?

I live in St Germain since 2012 and love the spirit. For the first time I met a very rude waiter in this nice village. I am chocked. A pity. Never I am going back to this place

We only stopped for a quick coffee - good coffee and great atmosphere. Lovely place to people watch - on a great square.
