We found Cafe Del Sol on a whim. One of those lucky encounters when a Google search turns out in your favor. We had arrived to our photo session early and had an hour to grab some lunch so I hit the Restaurants Near Me button on the GPS. It guided us to Cafe Del Sol and am I glad! The restaurant is completely unassuming from the outside, but inside the atmosphere was inviting, the wait staff was friendly, and the food was amazing! I was born in San Diego, where fish tacos are very popular. I never expected to find anything close on this side of the country. However, the fish tacos at this Cafe Del Sol may be the best I've ever had! Thank you for a wonderful experience.
My favorite spot! I absolutely love the salad here, and I always add turkey on top. It's always fresh, perfectly made, and just how I like it. The restaurant is clean and quiet when we arrive to pick up our food, and the overall experience is always fantastic. My husband enjoys the Reubens and the Chicken Caesar salad. I give it a solid 5 stars and then some. The only dish I wouldn't order again is the calamari; it's just not what I'm used to. It wasn't bad, just not quite to my taste.
My waynesboro favorite! This is my favorite salad, I add the turkey on the app. It is always fresh, perfect and just as ordered. The restaurant is clean and quiet when we arrive to pick up, and eat-in is always a great experience. My husband lovesthe Reubens, and the chicken Ceasar salad. 5 stars and beyond all the way. The only thing I wouldn't order again is calamari,it just wasnt prepared the way I am used to it. Not that it was bad, just not like I am used to.
Food portions seem small (especially soup) for what you are paying. This is a more upscale restaurant and the food had always been fresh and delicious. We take out from this restaurant mostly so maybe the sizing is smaller for takeout? The paninis are great and the crab bisque is very flavorful. You have secret menu items. Her secret Cheeseburgers are the most awesome Cheeseburger I haven't been home for a long time. Her French fries are also great. Their prices are a little expensive, but it is worth paying for foods that really taste good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If more people knew they had these fantastic burgers, they would sell them daily or regularly. We'll be back for her dinner.
Fantastic service with a welcoming atmosphere! The food is reasonably priced for its quality. The creative flavor combinations were delightful. The Crab Nachos, made with homemade potato chips, may sound unusual, but they were one of the best appetizers I've ever tried. I will definitely return when I'm in the area!
The atmosphere was really lovely. The service was friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. We spent $24 for two meals. I had a Caesar Salad, and I ordered the Avocado Panini with Garden Greens. Both dishes were delicious, fresh, and generously portioned. We will definitely return.
