My colleague and I made reservations (the restaurant is in high demand!! We set up a small table in the back room, which was very charming and very well decorated. We ordered meat starters and the chicken supreme made Wellington style: it was just delicious! The service is impeccable and very pleasant, the rooms very warm and the food excellent! I chose the cheese assortment instead of dessert, I was delighted!

15 days since the Café des Alpes reopened its doors with a new decor. Warm and friendly place like the young “boss” Victor and his staff. This last Sunday evening of 2018: a succulent dinner mixed salad, chicken legs black, gratin dauphinois and vegetables followed by cheeses and an apple/crumble tart. I highly recommend this nice restaurant. Good luck to Victor! And best wishes for the new year ahead!

A really welcoming restaurant with excellent cuisine. The menu is fresh, regional and well executed. The suppliers are local. The food is complemented by a well curated selection of local wines and beers. We enjoyed a long lunch on the Terrace which has a truly astonishing view over the valley. A most memorable day.

Service hit and miss. Most of white wines we requested were not available. Mixed up orders of water, wine and food. Not a very friendly welcome. Overcharged us for one dish on the bill. Could just have been a bad day. Food was excellent however.

If you like steak I recommend the chateaubriand .. really tasty and served at your table .. some good local wines and an impressive cheese board .. a word of warning parking is limited!
