Wow...We have finally experienced the stereotypical bad French wait staff. We were completely ignored, despite being of people in the place. She finally came over, after multiple gesturing attempts. She stayed behind the bar chatting with the locals mostly. When she finally...came over, she spent about seconds with us, and didn't take the time to listen to what we wanted, or see what we were pointing at, in our beginner French and then got the order wrong, of course. She also overcharged us by euros. We feel like we have been inducted into that very special club of experiencing the classic obnoxious and disgruntled French waiter. We are going back just to mess with her...the food was just ok

Très bon accueil, serveuses et serveurs efficaces et à l'écoute. Le service était rapide, malgré une bonne affluence et une terrasse pleine. Cuisine simple, mais bonne et servie copieusement. Idem pour les glaces en dessert (difficile de choisir autre chose, en ce jour de canicule ! . Tout cela pour des prix très corrects. À recommander.

This restaurant never fails to delight year after year. Excellent locally sourced food which complements the superb local wines of the area. Service is always efficient and friendly. Its worth the journey to sit, relax and sample the food and the atmosphere. the food is...simple, fresh and delicious

Pleasant and naturally ventilated terrace in the heart of Sancerre. Well-made sandwich brewery, delicious local beers, not forgetting a judicious selection of local wines, very good value for money. Fast service, smiling and in a good atmosphere, which doesn't spoil anything. Reserva una mesa ahora

A very friendly cafe on the main square. They were happy to serve us a simple breakfast of bread and jam coffee and orange juice at a fraction of the cost of the hotel breakfast; and the location sitting in the sun watching the world...go by was a lovely start to the day

A very nice position in the main square in Sancerre to enjoy the classic Sancerrois salad (with local goats cheese) and a lovely glass of local Sancerre wine. The waitress was very good, and service timely. Thank you
