This is another restaurant I have walked past literally hundreds of times but never ventured into. In my quest to try new restaurants and based on the reviews, we stopped here for a late lunch today. To start, we shared an assiette of chorizo and...calamari. The chorizo was good. The calamari was a decent portion for €9.90 but a little greasy. All three of us had ham and cheese omelettes and chips for lunch which were pretty good, in fact the 7 year old wanted to give the review 5 stars based on her omelette alone The bar had a great atmosphere and was full of locals having an extended Friday lunch. we have just happened on les artistes, a traditional French brasserie around the corner of our hotel was of the lively atmosphere and the fact that it is absolutely full of natives. the staff is lovely, helpful and courteous, that is eating. french brasserie: steak, fish of the day, seafood, rabbit, huh, all perfectly cooked and of excellent quality. they also have a good weeping list and when we visited one of the reasonable monthly specials was a delicious red “bio” in which we liked this small place with its music, bozz and beautiful atmosphere so much we go back. it would not hesitate to recommend it simply as many brasseries as this in france in running the years disappeared it is a bri...
This Monday evening dinner was prebooked as the last evening in Le Touquet for 2 of our party of 4. The attraction was the wide ranging menu to accomodate a slightly fussy (and genuinely lactose intolerant eater. Chicken and the steak special were both very...good, my escalope was too but the accompanying spaghetti in tomato sauce was bland. The caesar salad (without egg) had balsamic dressing not caesar. The wine was expensive (petit chablis) but good, however later I saw other diners with carafes of wine which didn't appear on the menu or the wine list.
the attempt to find a place to eat on a busy lunchtime is always a challenge, so forbidden a table here - many French win and eat outside - so in the rule of the daumen tick the box. for the plate du jour unfortunately, although. good service and welcome etc. the garnel croquettes were hard and still in the withte frozen! to meet the waiter and get gay probably more a bar than a bistro

although it sits on an enlivened corner, the location is not bad for lunch. beautiful tables outside with good shade. eating was okay, like the service. reasonable value for money. it was pampered by the workers who all seem to smoke and. it in turn to smoke in front of the main door directly next to the tables. smoke over our tables during the meal. no experience we will repeat.
I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. Good atmosphere with good music playing. I had mussels with chips and they were amazing. Finished it off with the chocolate moose and a glass of red. Good meal for a good price. Away from the hassle and...bussle of the main street.
Le Touquet really is a one a one horse town with nearly every thing in Rue Saint-Jean. This Cafe is a road or two over. Not as much hustle and bustle as the main thoroughfare. Food was good and service friendly and spoke good English....Also was good value for money.
simple menu, but good quality French food, beautiful weine and very good value given the very high prices in restaurants generally in le touquet. beautiful atmosphere and not over pretentious. we would certainly recommend and visit again.

This little bar is really friendly with a great atmosphere typical french, great to stop a have a glass of wine, owner very helpful welcoming. We didn’t eat there but will have lunch next time we visit
