This rustic café has been in the same family for many years. It is in the centre of this pretty village and specialises in cheese dishes, mainly raclette and fondue, made from the cheese from their own cows. These are the local Hérens cows (les Reines) which are taken up to the alpine pastures every summer. The unlimited servings of raclette are cooked before you on a wood fire, so the experience is entirely different from what is served elsewhere using an electric grill. The service by Lionel and his wife is attentive, the food delicious, and perfect after a day's skiing or mountain activities. If you have room, there are tasty deserts on the menu.
