Cafe Du Chateau

This place was amazing. Excellent staff . They were so friendly. We tried to communicate with our limited French language. They were so helpful . All traditional French cuisine at very reasonable price. They even gave us s a gift of a bottle of muscadet when we left . we did by several with our meal)! We had the most wonderful afternoon. My husband even had a tour of the kitchen. We will definitely be back Lorraine Andy Basildon Essex

we arrived here and from the start you could see that it was popular with locals and tourists the waitress was friendly and the food was simple and good,the bar and restaurant was very clean and the salads and breads were fresh,and the food was to a good standard (august 2015)

Arrived looking for a quick bite with friends. They were almost full but squeezed in our table of six with a few shuffles. Food is basic but tasty and good value for money. All the usuals on the menu. Children very well catered for. Not haute cuisine, but good basic fare.

Were visiting chateau nearby (2 adults, 1 kid 6 years old and lunch time drove us this place. LOVE IT!! Home cuisine, all plates left clean! Our picky boy ate his carbonara with enthusiasm we never saw. : come and you'll enjoy it!

Tried on a few occasions. Coffee OK, a bit weak as others have said Patisseries good.....lemon basil tart exceptional Friendly welcome
