Since moving to Aubonne we have visited the Cafe du Commerce many times. The staff are enormously friendly and extraordinarily patient with our limited French. The menu offers simple French and Swiss food cooked expertly. Although I am vegetarian I have never been dissatisfied - their veggie options are limited e.g quiche or omelette but absolutely delicious. The extraordinary homemade deserts are a must. Their locally produced wines are an absolute joy. To cap it all the lovely brasserie ambience makes each visit relaxing and easy going. Easily, the best restaurant we have visited in Aubonne.
the new brewery style room is welcoming. The homemade pies are presented in the center. service is cordial and effective. little frustration at reading the map that reserves a number of home specialties from 2 covers and subject to order 48 hours in advance. Too bad, we'll remember it for next time. Excellent shrimp bisque of leman fish soup. the salad and duck magrets would deserve a touch of originality in its preparation. beautiful fish skewer. The womb is served defeat and a little fat to my taste. very good homemade caramel cream.
a glass of white but not really a short choice we had read that the tartare was top so we wanted to try! he not terrible at all unsealed and not really taste but we enjoyed the fries and the boss offered us a supplement of fries but not very worried for the tartare that was still well present on the plates !! short of other à la carte dishes made want we will go back to try.

I came to eat here several times already and it was very good every time. waitresses and waiters are very kind and the kidney menu tonight was delicious. I have just taken to the barn (for other reasons) but I am very happy not to be too far from the coffee of trade.

with its character room, this very good restaurant is one of our canteen. The kitchen is simple and tasty, a pleasure every time renewed!
