CAFE DU MARCHE CAROUGE

A total lack of Humanity is what I experienced this morning at the Café du Marché when I found myself in a difficult situation. I was returning home when my bladder was failing me so in distress I hurried inside and asked for the favor of using the toilet. The person who answered me, probably the owner, first looked me over from head to toe and then told me that this was not possible because the police were expected because of the theft. I must say that I did not believe this excuse but I hastily left the place without replying. So now, although I haven't consumed anything, I want to leave my testimony. Location is amazing, food is good. However service was quite disappointing and not up to this restaurant name! It took a long time to order, to have our table cleaned before dessert, to have the dessert menu (which we had to request multiple times)...and only few tables were occupied. The waitress spilled our cafe gourmand on the table. Of course this is not a problem, but we would have appreciated a new coffee since most of it was on the table.

In a superb setting, superb toilets, perfect training. What a desappointment ! 1 frankly bad vegetarian dish, uncooked lentils. We had already been disappointed but today the bar has olive oil without oil, yesterday's rice and uncooked eggplant. It's a shame because I loved this place. It's overrated or you should stick to meat dishes.

Great restaurant with fresh, good quality products. The menu changes often and only uses seasonal products! The service is great and the wine is very good! The prices are very reasonable for the quality! Very good address when walking in Carouge! Reserva una mesa ahora

Excellent menu and service, and on a nice evening, great to get an outside table. All courses were excellent and service matched. Will happily return.

Very friendly telephone reception and super accommodating staff, they found us a table of 12 people last minute… I will definitely come back
