Across the road is the excellent, famous and expensive L'Abbeye Hotel in La Celle, near Brignoles, but all we wanted was a quick cheap meal so we crossed the street and went to what looked like a coffee bar with locals having a drink. We...entered and found that they have a lovely walled garden at the back and we took the last table for lunch (They recommend to reserve as the place is so popular). You sit under the trees in the garden and enjoy the shade on a hot summer day. Had lunch today, just omelettes, salad chips, demi pichet rose, deserts, coffee euro Excellent value, will go back for plat du jour (or choice from a excellent menu). The Friday evening tapas menu between pm and pm looked excellent, will go and...try and report back. Looks like a ordinary cafe, but nice small enclosed garden area at back, very friendly, efficient staff. Just good Provençal food nothing prentious.

After we visited the abbaye around the corner, we stopped in this caffe for lunch. we had luck getting a table because the local police seem to take most of the tables! and when the locals go, it must be good!. my wife and I had an excellent cheese, huh and speck bags that we both loved. we didn't want kartoffels, so madame ratatouille organized. great lunch!

great simple eating, well cooked and presented and great worth and served with a smile. the rabbit stew was excellent and my wife steak was perfectly cooked as she likes it. beautiful ambalat with him a good choice homemade dessert after....A great fund and will be back. Reserva una mesa ahora

the caffe is unpretentious, but practical, led by a small efficient team, the menu is limited, but offers good quality brasserie eating in a pleasant environment outside the caffe, inside or in the garden area.
