This cafe cum restaurant feels more like a sports bar than an eatery, however we found the food to be delicious and the portions huge. Service was friendly and with a little French exchanged for a little English we got by pretty easily. I ordered the hamburger which was cooked to perfection (pink in the middle) and my partner ordered the duck. Both came with a lovely side salad and frites. My only small gripe is that I ordered the main drink option and was still charged for the drink; I wasn't too bothered by this and didn't pursue it although I'm sure they would happily have corrected their mistake if asked!

Hot summers evening searching for somewhere to eat we stumbled on this cafe/bistro in the centre of the village. the terrace was packed a good sign so we grabbed the last table. The service was homely if slow but the temperature was over 30 at 9pm! Portions are huge and we struggled to finish. Salads are good and the charcuterie but the meat can be dry and tough. Desserts are the usual cafe creme brûlée a bit rubbery and ice cream. All in all OK but when the bill exceeds 120 Euros for us and two kids we wonder if it is value for money.

Superb service. Enjoyable lunch. Burger with fries, shrimp with risotto, and two beers. Quiet village, perfect afternoon. Rumor has it that this is the used-to-be restaurant where Escoffier, the famous French chef, stole the recipe for aubergines au gratin. We didn't see that particular dish on the menu.

Stopped for a quick lunch on a very hot day and were delighted with the salad options. Returned late one night for a snack and found ourselves eating our way through the menu. All of the starters were interesting and then we couldn't help but add two entrees and a dessert.
